“I asked Sis-Boom-Bah to perform at the surprise proposal to my now fiancé. within a approx time frame of a week they learned 7 minutes of music wonderfully well and contributed to the performance in the most memorable of lights by also acting to sway my fiancé of the surprise ( as some have professional acting backgrounds and contributed meaningfully to ideas and delivery of the night)

The highest expectations of the evening were met by their raw talent to deliver.

A truly invested team of inspiring musicians/entertainment professionals.  We highly regard and recommend their services.

Sincerely, Now, 2 Fans for life!”

“Sis-boom-bah has been playing with us at Wicked Willy’s for about a year now and we have been nothing but smiles since! They have an eclectic group of artists with great musicality. Jennifer the lead singer has a sexy, raspy but Strong voice that leaves your crowd in awe. Great for live music in restaurants/venues but I would also highly recommend for private parties!”

“This band is perfect for any life event! They carefully and perfectly execute all takes. And they are such a nice people. I have seen this band play intimate settings of 15-20 people (Branded Saloon in Brooklyn), and also huge crowds, like 100+ (Wicked Willy’s in Manhattan). Yes, they are good!! Highly recommend!”

“I hired the band to play a members-only reception at Scandinavia House. I had asked that they play mellow, jazzy background music and I had warned them that most people may just be talking and mingling. People loved the music and some even started dancing so the band kicked it up a notch and it became a lively party. I was glad that they were flexible and kept the crowd happy and engaged.”

“Great group, great performance at Captain Lawrence Brewery in Westchester County, great attitude. Really easy to work with. Highly recommend booking them.”

“I totally totally love this band”

“We really enjoyed seeing them twice over the summer this year (don’t remember the exact dates) – once at Delancey and again at Wicked Willies on Bleeker. They’re a tight set of musicians – the bass player killed it and the lead vocalist has an amazing vocal range. Everyone in the band is on point!
They played a set of songs from the 80s on up to the present and sounded great on every one. Any band that can do Nirvana and Steely Dan ( talk about different styles!) is cool in my book! Highly recommmended.”

“I recently attended a friends’ wedding In NYC and the live music was provided by Sis-Boom-Bah. First of all, it was great to have live music period. But these guys were just fantastic. They played songs I loved as a teenager (I was in high school in the 80’s) and projected ton of energy. The band kept people dancing and grooving. I would definitely recommend Sis-Boom-Bah to others based on what I saw. They seemed like very professional and seasoned musicians. Five stars from this reviewer!”

“My band shared a bill with Sis-Boom-Bah last April, at The Delancey in downtown Manhattan. The show featured a “Back in Time” 70’s/80’s/90’s theme.

Sis-Boom-Bah played the role of neon heroes from the 1980s, and got the house dancing with their fun, faithful renditions of 80s hits. Jennifer, the lead singer, has a strong voice and even stronger attitude — she knows how to command a stage and a room! Her backing musicians are  extremely tight professionals who kept the grooves strong.

While Sis-Boom-Bah did a great job of sticking to the theme that night, they are not strictly an 80s cover band, and in fact do solid work with material both older and more recent. They’d be a great choice for any event in need of fun, high-energy cover tunes!”
